On Wednesday, students continued to work on fractions, comparing and ordering with common denominators. For homework, they did Workbook Lesson 4-7. In the advanced classes, sixth period took their quiz, while seventh period reviewed the test that was returned to them. They should get that test signed.
On Thursday, all classes worked on adding and subtracting fractions and mixed numbers. The homework tonight is a worksheet entitled "Hidden Message" for the regular math classes, and textbook page 238-239 (1-32) for the advanced math classes.
On Friday, we will have a different schedule due to the Early Release Day and the Main Event for students who qualify for the fundraiser rewards. We will begin our day in homeroom with a video on earthquakes, then we will work on a math 4-quadrant graph. Students will attend both electives and lunch, then return to homeroom for the afternoon. The main event will take place from 11:30-12:30. Students who do not attend the Main Event will continue to work on their graphing, or have a chance to read library books. Students will be released to go home at 12:30. Have a great day! Enjoy the fair if you get a chance to go!
