Today, the morning classes reviewed with Ms. Lewis for their test on fractions, LCM, and GCF tomorrow (Wed.) Students enjoyed playing BINGO and earning Jolly Ranchers for correct answers and showing their work. Tonight, they will complete the worksheet, "All the Better to See You With," on the back side of "Hidden Message." This will help them prepare for tomorrow's test as well.
Afternoon math classes checked homework from yesterday and practiced adding and subtracting mixed numbers for their test tomorrow. Tonight they will complete page 248 (1-22 ) and get their quizzes signed. "Trick or Treat Graphs" are due by Monday, Nov. 1, so they may work on those at home tonight or in class tomorrow after they finish their test.

On Wednesday after the test, the morning classes will work some more on fractions on page 244 (8-15). They have the option of finishing their graphs, "Halloween Hall of Fame" by Monday to receive extra credit.

Wednesday afternoon classes will take their tests, then work on their graphs in class.

On Thursday, all classes will organize and prepare their portfolios for their student-led conferences on Monday. When that task is completed, they may work on their graphing assignments. The morning classes will do page 248 (1-10) for homework, while the afternoon classes complete their graphs as their weekend homework.

Remember that Friday is a teacher workday. Monday is Student-Led Conference Day! (Students MUST attend the conference with their parent. This is not a conference with teachers, although we will be available should you need us.) Enjoy your weekend!
