Today, students finished their Blue Diamond Assessments on factors and prime factorization. Then we reviewed finding least common denominators so that we could compare and order fractions. These are the skills that will be tested on their quiz tomorrow. Homework for tonight is in the workbook, Lesson 4-6. Students must find common denominators before they try to put fractions in order, or to compare 2 fractions, in order to get credit for having homework done.

On Tuesday, we will do a quick review of fractions, then take our quiz. Homework for Tuesday night will be the fraction word problems on the back of the "Puppy Dog" worksheet. Again, students must show common denominators in order to get credit.
