Today, students began dividing decimal numbers by a whole number. They should read page 125-126. Second period students should problems 1-9, 3rd period should do 10-18, and advanced classes should do 19-30 on those pages.

On Wednesday, we will continue to work on dividing decimals, this time by decimal divisors as well as decimals in the dividends. Read pages 127-128, then work problems on page 129. Second period do 1-8, third work 8-17, and advanced work 21-26 and 31-36.

On Thursday, we will continue to work on dividing decimals. Second period class should do Lesson 3-7 in the workbook, while other classes should do Lesson 3-8.

Friday, we will take our quiz on division of decimals in all classes. For homework, we have a "Jumble" to figure out, on page 142! It should be fun. (Second period math will do Lesson 3-8 in the workbook instead, problems 1-12.)
